What can we believe? Old and new mirror each other in a multicoloured way in this meditative project by Het Collectief and Collegium Vocale Gent. The brand new music of Johannes Schöllhorn’s Specchio (Mirror) is juxtaposed with consoling Renaissance motets by Orlando di Lasso. Schöllhorn likes to set himself up as a prism through which tradition shines. Besides Lasso’s rich harmonies\, Schöllhorn was also inspired by a poem by Pier Paolo Pasolini\, the visionary scandal director who was murdered in 1975. \nQuelle: www.collegiumvocale.com
